Yes. I do think AI is useful. Yes I use AI, but no, I do not use AI to write my stories. I use AI strictly as a tool, not a machine that does the creative work for me.

I think AI is extremely useful if we utilize it properly. The current issue we face is that many people do not know how to use it correctly yet. However, we live in a world now where it is increasingly necessary to use AI, and to learn to use it well. If we fail to understand how to treat AI as a helper tool instead of a "do-it-for-me" machine, then we are doomed.

All of the character and system names came from manual online research sources, not artificial generators. A previous book project I started and never finished fell into the trap of using AI for everything. I intentionally stepped away from that trap with this book."

THE PERSPECTIVE ON AI ART

AI art is a completely different topic. Yes, I use AI art. All the AI-generated images deployed throughout this database come directly from Google Gemini and Magnific.

Accessibility: I use AI because, as a teenager, I am not naturally artistic and do not have a budget to hire professional designers.
Social Dynamics: As an introvert, I don't have artistic friends whom I would feel comfortable asking to draw assets for me[.
Visual Verification: A lot of the time, I use AI-generated art to see if I described a setting or character well enough in my manuscripts, or if I need to edit my descriptive writing.
